Dr. Shuang Chen, M.D. in China & Japan and R.H. (AHG) in the USA. She has been an experienced dermatologist and mycologist for over 35 years. She is one of few medical doctors who practices Western & Oriental herbal medicine in the US. She graduated from the Medical School in China, and had further study in Teikyo University, School of Medicine, Dept. of Dermatology, Tokyo, Japan in the 80’s. She was a member of the Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology.
Dr. Shuang Chen has been devoting her professional practice to naturopathy medicine since early 90’s. She is interested in herbal medicine, nutrition science and alternative medicine. She worked as an experienced acupuncturist in Houston, Texas. She focuses on the search for effective therapies using Eastern & Western herbal medicine and nutrition to treat skin diseases, venereal diseases, fungal infected disorders, cancer, etc. She completed distant study in homeopathic medicine and western herbology, and obtained Master Herbalist Diploma from the Australasian College of Health Sciences in Portland, Oregon of the US.
Dr. Shuang Chen is a registered herbalist in the US. Besides being a member of the American Botanical Council, a member of the American Herbalist Guild and a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau in the US, she is also a medical research writer. She published
her book "The Guide to Nutrition and Diet for Dialysis Patients" (English) in the US in 2008.
Dr.Shuang Chen wrote another book "Herbology in Three Traditional Medicines for Acne"(English),which was published in the US in 2011.

During a consultation with Dr. Shuang Chen, what the patient needs to do:
- To bring in the copies of all results of blood tests, ultrasound/X-ray/CT/MRI …exams in the past 3years.
- To fill out the Personal Health Profile Form and Informed Consent Form.
- To answer Dr. Chen ‘s many questions and establish a medical history.
What will Dr.Chen do for the patient?
- Dr.Chen will check the patient’s tongue, pulse, and iris to determine current and potential future health condition of the patient. Those 3 techniques are from the diagnostic arts that combined with Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM) and Western Naturopathy Medicine.
